Disco came to be associated with both culture and fashion, and was at the zenith in the late 1970's. The fashion crowd favoured the New York club Xenon, which had a reputation for a more extreme interpretation of the disco look and where dancers cavorted in cages wearing only Spandex leotards and body glitter. In 1977 disco was thrust into mainstream culture by the popularity of the movie Saturday Night Fever, the high point of the disco boom.

Benetton London, Oxford Street.

Benetton

If you  have ever been to London, you will have passed through the busiest street in Europe, Oxford Street. In the corner of Oxford st subway you find several shops that  have changed over the years except one, Benetton. Since my first visit to London in 1994, this store has always been in this place, I would even say that it is part of the tourist sights of the city!

Even they have a stereo with the format of the old "radio-recorders".

Balenciaga Store, Paris

336 rue Saint-Honore, Paris.

Last summer I visited the new store of Balenciaga in Paris. All decoration has a futuristic style (such as the 2012 collection created by Nicolas Ghesquiere for Balenciaga), the location is like being in a spaceship. Compare with the past, the store disegn is completally different like the Balenciaga in the 50's where he used to dress the Spanish Royal Family.
The lighting is amazing, is decorated with large reflectors and generates a lighting of being on a catwalk.
The floor is decorated with different styles (mosaics, carpets, marble) it's representing different B. stores in the world such as Milan, Beijing, Las Vegas and Venice.

Here are the pictures!!

BonTon Paris
