 Bon Chic, bon genre or  good style, good class is an expression used in France to refer to a subculture of stylish members of the Paris upper class living on the right bank (rather than the intellectual, countercultural left Bank). The main characteristics in its style are: 

polish,

good breeding,
good booming,

This smart uniform with classic luxuries items are: a cashmere sweater, kilts and twin-set, a pair of ballet pumps, an Hermès Birkin bag, and some accessories like a silk scarf,  school satchels, pearl necklaces, and  expensive watches.

 BCBG is also to be known as "seizieme' after the 16th arrondissement, one of the most chic neighbourhood in Paris. This style was the symbolism of the style had its greatest power, it often looked more old-fashioned, the young dressing much like the old, with safe conservatism.

Most of the French actresses is still wearing this style, like Marion Cotillard with a polished style, clothes with perfect figure, a glamorous evening gown, and understated makeup.

Yesterday was the last day of one intimate and emotional exhibition about the late singer Amy Winehouse at Camden Town jewish Museum. 

The exhibition mixed different passions in her life: her family, London and Music. 

In the different display you were able to see her evolution about style, trend, and how she become a British Fashion Icon. 

In the  Following display I found clothes and shoes that charaterize the Winehouse style during her profesional career.  Brands like American Appareil Pink sport jacket, Vivianne Westwood dresses, and shoes by YSL, Christian Louboutin, Fendi, etc.

In mine opinion, the exhibition was more than just a Fashion fest.

Creo que ya he contado en Facebook esta historia, hace como un mes conocí a "Ziggy Stardust" viendo un documental en la BBC y pude descubrir el perfecto ejemplo de un Pop Star.

Traje de Kansai Yamamoto. 1972 

Para los años 70's este personaje es el nacimiento de un disco conceptual donde mezcla Ciencia Ficcion y teatro japones Kabuki.

A partir de esto, descubrí la infuencia que tuvo este artista en la música, la moda y el arte y creando asi el Glam Rock.

No solo atrajo a su publico, sino fue ( y aún lo sigue siendo) una inspiración para varios artistias.

Por ejemplo varios diseñadores utilizaron su estilo para sus colecciones como Jean-Paul Gaultier, Jonathan Saunders y Riccardo Tisci para Givenchy. Y sin olvidar a Kansai Yamamoto quien vistió a Ziggy Stardust en el Ziggy stardust tour por  el Reino Unido, Estados Unidos y Japon entre el 72' y el 73' o como British  y Paris Vogue le dedicaron una tapa con la modelo Kate Moss.

Actualmente   V&A museum en London presentara a partir del 23 de marzo David Bowie is donde podremos apreciar su legado musical y artístico.

inspiración Jean-Paul Gaultier, Givenchy, Jonathan Saunders y Lady Gaga.

Pero esto no termina aqui, para sus fans David Bowie extrenará en marzo próximo su nuevo disco "The next Day".
